Tatyana Khazanova
Hi, my name is Tanya, and I am an Occupational Therapist. I began my career as an Occupational Therapist nearly a decade ago and since then, I have had the pleasure of working in numerous settings exploring diverse populations, discovering a passion for pediatrics, as well as hand therapy. My experiences in schools, sensory gyms, pediatric in-patient centers, and home care afford me a unique insight to decipher underlying causes of the setbacks children may experience in school and/or at home.
Identifying the underlying causes helps navigate activities and techniques to maximize efficiency of time spent with the child. Understanding it helps remedy and improve relationships with parents and teachers, and treating it improves skills, self-esteem, and quality of life. Occupational Therapy is an advantageous way to solve problems. It is a fun and personal approach that most kids find a blast and parents find an astute, eye opening experience.
Occupational therapy unites teachers, parents, and kids to get results!
